Bienvenidos a toda nuestra gente Chicano. La Familia Minisstry Denver are pleased to present the 2025 Latin Jam schedule of events as we celebrate 25 years of producing Latin Jam music events in Colorado.
Latin Jam was first produced in 1998 at the Adams County Fairgrounds in Brighton, CO. It was called Latin Jam '98. (See the poster to your right.)
ESTABLISHED IN 1998 . CELEBRATING 26-YEARS
Latin Jam '98 was the first "Chicano" culture music festival of it's kind in the Denver area. The event attracted over 6,000 people in it's first year. The event featured three stages and 24-bands from California, New Mexico, and Colorado. The event produced great memories of having MALO, TIERRA, and Bobby Espinosa and EL Chicano in Denver as "The Latin Legends" for the first time.
As is the case with all La Familia events, the majority of the proceeds go to underwrite the expenses for La Familia Ministries outreach and family projects in Denver and other Colorado cities; whether its ministering to the homeless, supporting drug recovery, or providing toys for kids at Christmas. We can only do this because of your support and because of the support of artists that understand today's challenges and value people and communities above just artist fees. In years since, the Latin Jam event has been held annually and has been produced in multiple formats including music festivals, concerts, and dances. Each year the event has been offered as a gated event and has sold out to capacity in venues that ranged from 100's to 1,000's. In 2021, La Familia and West of the River Productions expanded Latin Jam to cities in Southern Colorado and began producing Latin Jam multiple times in a single year in different cities.
