The UITC Christian Hip Hop Showcase 
Featuring the SOG CrewOn Faith Entertainment artistsand various other Denver Christian Hip Hop & Rap artists. The showcase will be offered in 2-parts with one in the first half of the day and the other in the second half. 
HEAVENBOUND featuring the BUENO & Warrior Spirit Ministry Teams 
Heavenbound features artists from Denver and Northern Colorado. They will team up with members of BUENO from the San Francisco Bay Area  and members of Warrior Spirit from the California Central Valley. Latin Rock - Old School - contemporary Praise.
Event Speakers 
The program will feature guest speakers that will include national, regional and local Pastors and community leaders. They will speak between band and artist changes and be sharing info on issues facing young people and messages of encouragement regarding the growing issue of youth under addiction. After giving their messages they will work with the event ministry team to invite parents, grandparents, and young people to meet with them at the event "Welcome Area" for individual sharing and prayer.

Local barbers and hair stylists will be donating their time and services in shifts throughout the day to provide free haircuts for children and other guests.

Event ticket admission includes free hot dog or hamburger, chips, bottle of water. 
Guests may also choose to purchase menu items such as Italian sausage sandwiches, bratwurst sandwiches, can soft drinks, and novelty items.
What kind of event is this?
Message to the community:
No food or coolers will be allowed through the gate. Guests may bring in one hand held bottle of water or soft drink. Please do not bring alcohol of any type into the event. This is illegal and would put our Special Event and Alcohol Permit at risk. This will be checked and monitored by event security at the gate throughout the event. Guests found to be bringing or attempting to bring in alcohol - it will be emptied and the guest asked to leave.
We will be using a ticket exchange system. Beverage ticket purchases may be made with cash or credit and debit cards via card scanners.

No alcohol. This is a family friendly community event.

HopeFEST '18 will be held in a residential neighborhood setting. Generally, parking will be street parking around the park. A limited number of disabled guests will be provided with on site parking on the W 39th Avenue between Osage and Navajo streets. If you are, or have a disabled person in a wheel chair or similar situation, please call 303-273-5555 and for disability parking consideration. 
PLEASE PLAN AHEAD as many people from the area have. Many will be starting early and understand they will be using neighborhood street parking. All that we need to do is plan ahead in much the same way that Bronco fans would do for a Bronco's home game. This is the same approach ... this is the one area to understand and plan for, however, rest assured that the experience is worth the effort.

We DO NOT mail tickets. If you purchased tickets here, please pickup your tickets at Myra's Hair Styling or any outlet listed here. You may pickup tickets by presenting the printed or electronic email (cell phone) receipt and a valid Colorado ID.
There are directions at the place where you bought your tickets that ask you to go to Myra’s Hair Salon at 3141 Federal Blvd to pick up your tickets. Simply present your Paypal receipt (printed or show on phone) and a valid ID and you redeem hard copy tickets.

This is outdoor, will there be chairs to sit on?
Bring you concert lawn chairs. There will be limited chair seating in the disabled and welcome areas, however, we highly recommend that guests NOT count on this and ask all guests to bring concert lawn chairs. 
We will be in a contained space, but will not oversell this event beyond the capacity that we have been given to work with. This is a new type of event, your patience and cooperation makes it all work. All that we need to do is plan ahead in much the same way that one would do for a home Bronco's game. The experience is worth the effort.

HopeFEST '18 is a one day event. Festival hours are from 12 Noon to 8 PM. Volunteer setup starts at 9 AM. Volunteers will be assigned according to experience and need in one of the activity areas. Click on the image for a PDF volunteer packet.

The "Welcome Area" is a spiritual and provisional resource support area. A place where guests can come speak with, and have a time of prayer, with ministry support teams and guest speakers. The water baptism area will be located here along with community resource exhibitors. Open to everyone.

25TOLIFE DRAMAICAL Cast Meet-N-Greet
The cast of the Pinto Project "25TOLIFE DRAMAICAL" (Drama-Musical-Play) "Youth Under Addiction" production will be winding up a Colorado tour and be on hand to meet the public and fellowship with Denver youth. Denver youth.

The HopeFEST 2018 event is family focused and community inclusive to non-faith based organizations to include family service organizations, city agencies, law enforcement, corporate, and mid to small level business organizations.
In our goal to engage and maximize community participation among these groups, our purpose is twofold... first to maximize resource availability at the event, second is to continue to contribute to greater and greater unity and collaboration building between family service community groups and church and ministry organizations. They are coming into the heart of Northwest Denver according to a tradition of holding community events in an outdoor neighborhood setting. Here it will include some of the country's best ... on the lawn across the street. 
The event is a non-alcohol family friendly event which also feature food, fun, vendors, exhibitors, and community exhibits such as the dynamic youth interactive mural art exhibit and "Art Alley." It offers opportunity at various levels including church, ministry, and local community family service organization interaction with families to a marketing and advertising opportunity for Denver’s business community. 
We understand the value of collaboration as well as its role in building comprehensive unity through inclusion with both ministry and community organizations. Time and experience clearly show these elements to be essential to any effective effort in reaching and ministering to families. HopeFEST '18 is being initiated according to a community collaborative vision. It is family focused and community inclusive to include non-faith based organizations and focuses as well as family service agencies and corporate and small business organizations, however, it and structured to minister to the community through a Christian outreach effort.
A foundational ministry goal for this effort is to organize for a meaningful outreach effort based on Christian collaboration and unity. Participating churches and ministries are being offered an a partnership opportunity to play a "hands on" role and take on, organize, and run an event  ministry component. My friend and I are single moms with kids ...
It may not seem like a lot, but for us, this is expensive. Is there a group rate or discount for families that can make it easier for us to come?
Yes. we maintain a community focus and remain mindful of various types of family needs. We want everybody that wants to attend to be able to without financially challenging them to do so; single moms and dads and the disabled especially. The event exceeded its greatest expectations as measured in community attendance. In 2003 the event was reorganized as the HopeFEST Christian Music Festival and was moved to Ventura, CA where it was produced as an annual music festival outreach on the shores of Ventura Beach. Through the years the event featured many famous secular artists (all Christians active in ministry) and attracted people from all walks of life for a time of national artist music, food, fellowship, and creative Christian outreach ministry.
About the HopeFest Christian Music Festival
The event remains a music festival and community outreach vehicle, but is now taking on a new community role under the management and oversight of the HopeFest Music Festival (HMF) Committee, as the HopeFest Music Festival and is being redeployed in Denver and along the Colorado Front Range I-25 Corridor for community awareness building and also as a fundraising vehicle for the Pinto Project 360° Youth Recovery Home and Jobs program and community diversion and prevention programming.
The first HopeFest Festival event was produced in 2001 in association with Denver's New Hope Ministries of Denver as the "New Hope Crusade." The event took place on the Jefferson High School football field in Edgewater, Colorado and debuted a new Gospel group called BUENO along with a full day of Denver area Gospel artists. 
August 4th, the HMF Committee will offer HopeFest '18 in Northwest Denver. The event will include an all day concert lineup that will feature many of the best Christian Old School, R&B, and Hip Hop artists in the U.S. Southwest Region. They are coming into the heart of Northwest Denver according to a tradition of holding community events in an outdoor neighborhood setting... on the lawn across the street... Sal Perez the Dangerous Disciple
Pastor Sal Perez is a talented and respected Christian "Old School" artist.  His music is awesome and can be heard globally. He has been invited to bring his unique Christian Funk and R&B to HopeFest '18 as well as speak on youth issues. (To be confirmed) 
Praise Avenue featuring the Colour of Love Ministry Team
Denver's Praise Avenue will bring music from their R&B and Old School CD and will also host the Colour of Love ministry team from Phoenix, Arizona. 
The VO Albuquerque Old School Band
Pastor Danny Sanchez and the VO Old School Band have been invited to bring their Christian 70's and 80's Funk & R&B "Old School" sound. Pastor Danny has also been invited to speak in the program. (To be confirmed) 
Youth Interactive Mural Art Exhibit & Face Painting
This exhibit engages youth in a dynamic and positive fashion and incorporates youth community activity, art therapy, and fun. A face painting station will compliment the exhibit. Hosted by Brave American Hero Clothing. 
Project 360° Health Fair Exhibit
The health fair exhibit features basic health screening, HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis C assessment, drug addiction issue and resource awareness information including an info station about the Project 360° Youth Recovery Home & Jobs Program.

The HopeFest Music Festival is a project with purpose. It is an established music festival and community outreach that is now also being deployed as a fundraising vehicle for the Pinto Project Project 360° Youth Recovery Home & Jobs Program and youth diversion and prevention programming.  Accordingly, the event is being offered on a ticket donation basis. All sponsorship contributions and ticket proceeds will be used to underwrite the costs of producing the event with all additional proceeds going to Project 360°
